Day 1
Arrival to Riga and self transfer for check in at the hotel
Riga is a city full of history and beautiful architecture, not to mention the magnificent shopping!
Blackheads` House, St. Peters and St. John's churches, Convent Yard, Guild Houses, Swedish Gate and other historical monuments of the old Riga are some of the attractions. Elizabetes- and Alberta iela (street) are h4 candidates of holding the Baltic's most magnificent Jugend buildings.
The Art museum in close location offers a substantial exhibition with the greatest Latvian artist’s trough all times. Paintings, drawings and sculptures from the past until the present can all be found here.
The magnificent Cathedral Doma Laukums is also well worth a visit. It's the largest church among the Baltic countries and it also hides one of the world largest organs!
We will provide you with a voucher which you exchange for a Riga card.
The Riga card is valid as free entrance ticket to many popular tourist attractions as well as for public transportations and gives you discounts on sightseeing tours and some shops and restaurants.
Day 2
We recommend you to start the day with the Old Town walking tour; this tour will introduce you to the absolutely best sights and attractions of Riga!
This starts daily from the shopping centre "Rates pasaza" in Town Hall Square and takes 1, 5 hour. If you are in a shopping mood after the tour it is nice to visit the Central market (Central Tirgus), located in five zeppelin hangars from the First World War.
You can find anything here, from cheap clothes, fruit, fish to alarm clocks. Stockmann is a modern four floor high department store where you find fashion boutiques as well as retail shops and delicatessen. Dzintara Galerija can offer goods made in amber, both jewellery as well as pencils. At Tine you will find an excellent souvenir shop with the finest handicraft made in this area, ceramics, linen, hats, knitted items such as gloves, scarves and much more.
Day 3
This day can be spent either on further attractions and shopping, or why not indulge yourself with a luxury SPA treatment? We will be happy to organize this for you! Jurmalas SPA centre is located 20 minutes from the city and is beautifully located at a 32 km long beach and it's a wonderful place to relax and recover. You can easily spend a full day here at the SPA resort where they offer Herbal-and mineral baths, muscle relaxing treatments, mud-packing treatments, massage with different applying techniques, light-therapy, beauty lounge with manicure, facial treatments and much more.
Day 4
